This is the first step of simplifying your time wisely. This requires a daily diary schedule log that tracks your activities and enables you to determine how your time is being used. What is the most important task of the day? At the end of the week, analyze your activities and how you used your time. This will help you stay abreast of what’s going on in your life and draw conclusions on how much time you are spending on important tasks and identify areas of wasted time.
A priority is the preference given to one activity over other activities. Most of us prioritize badly. Prioritize your goals; your tasks. Identify what you want to get done. Prioritize your activities and complete the tasks to accomplish your objectives. Stay on course; tasks that must get done should be placed on the to-do-list and then prioritized.
Set Quality Time
The best laid-plans made can still be interrupted. Interruptions can happen at any time. Plan a prime time every day. Announce to your family and friends that you are blocking off a certain time for your “quiet time” and stick with it. Block off television, phone calls, and internet. This is your quality time with God.
