“Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” Psalms 139:16 (MSG)
Don’t judge her by her book cover. God is still maturing and refining her. Her book cover stands out from the rest because it’s been through years of being mishandled, damaged and abused. The cover might be torn and roughed up, but her life is valuable and worth more than rubies or diamonds. Don’t make a quick judgment about her just because her cover is not as pretty as yours. Her Cinderella shoe will not fit you! God is the greatest creator, author and He has produced a high-quality design that no one else can create or compare. She is beautiful and one of a kind!
“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.” Psalms 139:13-15 (MSG)
Don’t criticize her broken chapters and missing pages. Don’t get offended just because her script and storyline was changed many, many times. You don’t know her story and all the things she endured! You weren’t there. You didn’t experience the hurt and pain when she was abused, neglected and rejected time and time again. You don’t understand the cost and value of her life. Thank God, He rescued her and changed her storyline for the better! She is resilient, strong and ready to move forward. New chapters are being written, so don’t judge her. Some main characters had to be written out of her book, but that’s ok. She realized it was time to let them go. She can’t recapture the past, but today, she can live with promise and purpose.
You will not find her Lifebook in the fiction section or in a Harlequin romance. However, it will be a best seller when God gets through with her! Why? Because she identifies with other women who share similar life stories of brokenness. They would love to read about her secrets of forgiveness, freedom, faith, redemption and how to rise from the ashes of defeat.
She is a champion, a survivor, a warrior. She is on a new journey with new passions. She is more confident about her future. God has given her the courage to continue living an amazing life. God will give her the desires of her heart and bring a new partner into her life who will adore, honor and take care of her. God is still writing her story, detailing every page with beautiful content written just for her. Her life is an open book… but one broken chapter does not define the rest of her story. She waits with anticipation.
“For You have tested us, O God. You have made us pure like silver is made pure. You brought us into the net. And You laid a heavy load on our back. You made men travel over our heads. We went through fire and through water. But You brought us out into a place where we have much more than we need.” Psalms 66:10-12 (NLV)
