Seize the Day

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” Matthew 6:34 (MSG)

Today is the day to cast all your worries aside and just reflect on God and yourself. Don’t let another moment pass without thanking God for bringing you through some tough stuff!  Today is a new day! Oh, it’s human nature to be concerned about life things, but God wants us to depend on Him! Don’t worry so much about what’s going to happen tomorrow or the next day. Learn to trust God!

Anxiety and worries can have a major impact on your physical health. Why would you say you trust God, then worry, stress and cry about it all night? We let our minds wander randomly trying to figure it out. You give it to God, then you take it back! If you have a personal relationship with God, you should know that He is the one who created you and He knows everything about you!

Remind God of His promise to you:

“Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what.” Hebrews 13:5 (MSG)

Seize the day to cast all of your cares on Him because He cares for you. Every moment of every day offers new meaning. There is a lesson learned in every test. Understand who you are in Christ. You are a child of the King, a survivor, a promise. When we embrace the love of God, we have strength to endure the greatest of struggles.

Seize the day and be inspired to breathe!
