Rekindle the vision

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life”. Proverbs 13:12 (NLT)

There will always be somebody that will try to change the course of your vision and your plans. At times they mean well, but it’s not their vision…it’s yours! This is what God has placed in you, for you. Exposing or sharing your thoughts and passions to the wrong persons can invite judgement, fear, criticism, skepticism, bad advice, jealousy, negativity and even rejection.

Giving in to these types of intrusions are risky and can cause temporary setbacks on your journey. God specifically instructs us to be patient as He unfolds His plan for our lives. Dreams and plans will never be fulfilled listening to everybody’s input.  Be secure in Christ enough to know what He wants for you, what He has for you, and what is for you! What God has for you is for you!

Your life should not be defined by other people’s opinions or what they think of you. Take control of your life, goals and plans! Understand the plan that God has designed for you. He has filled you with so much purpose and power. Don’t let other people’s opinions dilute your passions and derail your future.  Write down your vision and keep it ever before you, until it comes into fruition. Rekindle the visions and passions that you wrote down years ago. Drown out all the negative interference and replace it with prayer and positive affirmations of, “I can, and I will”.   Fulfill your dreams and live a life of happiness! Stay the course! Your dream is passion! Your dream is you!

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me”. Philippians 4:13

  1. I love this writing. We have to protect what God give us and be willing to lose friends and love ones when they can’t have their way.. The bible says my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. As you wrote we need to understand the plan God design for us. If we differ we will suffer the consequence, if we delay, it will become a hard task to fulfill.
