Choose to trust God

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

When you are faced with difficult challenges, who or what do you trust?  Do you take a chance in trusting your own judgement when you are faced with a difficult trial? Do you trust the daily horoscopes, fortune tellers, palm readers, or the lining of the stars? These things are fallible and unreliable, including my own judgement at times when I’m going through a fiery trial! Sometimes we make these tough decisions as a means to cope with the situation at hand.  We also make a mess trying to do things on our own!

Unshakeable Trust: Find the Joy of Trusting God at All Times, in All Things

God has promised to protect and be with us at all times, if we trust Him completely. He understands us. No matter how difficult the challenge, God has the power to bring peace into the situation. God is greater than any problem or challenge that we face. He encourages us to trust Him with all of our heart, for His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. You must continue to depend on God’s strength and acknowledge Him in all your ways, during the good times and the bad. When you do, He will direct your path to victory. Just know that past victories do not guarantee that you will continue to be strong. Trust and expect God to be there for you and deliver on His promises.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man” Psalm 118:8

Quotable: “When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away your ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer”. Corrie Ten Boom
