One of the most difficult things to do in life is to forgive. What is more difficult is to forgive the person who deliberately hurt you, and you are the victim. In your mind, you are thinking there is no way I’m forgiving them after what they did. Revenge! But God’s word tells us to “forgive as the Lord forgave you”. Forgiveness is healing. When we forgive, we release ourselves to spiritual restoration. Peace and freedom begin the moment you let it go.
