How to turn stress into strength

It is difficult to see a rainbow in the midst of life’s storms. Unfortunately, no one will go through life without some type of storm, stress or anxiety. Life will present many battles, but God’s love for us never changes. When we open our hearts and minds to Him in daily prayer and meditation, He will provide encouragement, strength, and the power to take one day at a time. Remember that God is in control of every event that has happened. He knows how much you can handle. Never miss the grace of God by giving up. It is His joy and grace that gives strength to endure!

James 1:2-4    NIV    Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

I Chronicles 28:20   NKJV   Be strong and of good courage and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

Psalm 73:26   NIV   My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 46:1   KJV   God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Chronicles 20:20   NIV   Have faith in the Lord your God, and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.

Isaiah 40:29   NKJV   He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength.

Isaiah 40:31   NJKV   But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
